         Description	Draft containing a comment at the bottom of 2r which relates to an asterisk over the tenth bar. This comment reads 'For violin, picolo, flute, cornet.ect in treble. Bass, [Double] Bass ect in Bass'. Britten has retrospectively (c. 1933-4) written '1923' on the front of the manuscript book. However, the handwriting and compositional style suggest an earlier date of 1922.
