Description | The copy held here (a photograph rather than a photocopy) seems to have been made for use in conjunction with the release of 'Love from a Stranger' - a film for which Britten wrote the soundtrack. Typescript notes pasted to the back of the copy are credited to 'Frank Shaw, Trafalgar Productions', the producers of the film. They give biographical details about Britten, citing his age as 22 (although Britten would have been 23 at the time of the film's release in the spring of 1937). The title is written at the top. |
